"As part of the "Sesame Street" generation, I will probably always have a little bit of correct Bert and crazy Ernie in me. So it's hardly surprising that my career is in some ways a reflection of these characters. I first studied law. Studying was fun, the exam less so and practicing law even less so. As a result, I quit my job and studied graphic design. In 2000, I founded the agency Artivista, which became Artivista Werbeagentur GbR in 2008 and Artivista | Agentur für Visuelle Kommunikation GbR in 2013. Today, I work as an art or creative director for regional and national projects. I also work as an expert at the University of Applied Sciences and as a seminar leader on the topics of "Design & Marketing in Practice", including for:
- Competence Center for Creative Industries of the Federal Government
- Rationalization and Innovation Center of the German Economy e. V.
- BSP Business School Berlin Potsdam, University of Applied Sciences for Management
In 2014, I worked on the expert committee of the Alliance of German Designers for the redrafting of the AGD collective wage agreement for freelance designers."
