Create a business card in Word
Graphic design is the paradise of individuality, eccentricity, heresy, abnormality, hobbies and humors.

A business card is an element of business communication that represents your company and leaves a first impression of you. We will create the business card in Word, as it is a common program available to many users.
To start, I'll create a blank page to edit.
As you can see in the example, I go to the toolbar and select the "Change page size" option.
You should select and configure all the settings as shown in the example, i.e. set the size and number of pages for the business card, including the front and back.
After selecting the page, prepare it for printing. It is necessary to leave space for the bleed: 2 mm outside and 5 mm inside. The information should be placed in the center of the page.
Make the settings as in the example: Select the line width and the indentation from the edge.
After creating the indented print frames, I design the background of the business card and use the company colors to create a corporate identity. This creates trust and underlines the reliability of the company.
If you right-click, you can open an additional color palette and change the color. If you don't like anything in the color palettes listed, you can enter the desired color yourself at the bottom.
For the background, I added another element on which I placed the text. I used the control panel tools to select the text I wanted. It needs to be placed and the color adjusted.
The next step is to work with the logo. Since I am creating an example, instead of a logo, I use free icons that you can also find in the panel. There is a large library of different themes that you can use to create your own style.
For the logo, I use the same color palette as for the background, but with slightly darker tones. This promotes a calm perception of the information and makes a good impression on potential business contacts.
If necessary, you can use free images to add a personal touch to your business card. A photo, for example a portrait picture of yourself, can be placed on the front of your business card, which increases your creativity and draws attention to your profile.
For the second part, I opted for a larger version of the logo in bright colors.
Next, I remove the pre-made frames and follow the instructions.
And the finished business card is ready. All you have to do is save it as a PDF and send it to the print shop.
I've shown you a simple way to create a business card in Word. If necessary, you can adapt it to your needs.
Business card design - the basics
Art is to be free. Design is to fix.

When creating a business card in Word, as in other programs, there are some basic rules for creating a high-quality business card. This will make it presentable and leave a better impression.
Simplicity and clarity
A business card should be easy to read. Avoid overloading it with information by leaving enough space around the text and logo. The simpler and clearer the business card is, the easier it is to read and remember.
Balance and composition
This principle refers to the distribution of elements on the business card. You need to create a harmonious composition in which the elements are balanced and do not contradict each other. Place the most important information (name, contact details) in the center of the business card or in a place that immediately attracts attention.
Readability of the font
Choose fonts that are easy to read even at small sizes. Prefer simple and clear fonts without excessive embellishments. Remember that the text on the business card should be easy to read even when scanned quickly. The font should also not be too thin, otherwise there will be problems later when printing.
Color harmony
Choose a color palette that matches your brand image and creates a pleasant visual experience. Use no more than three primary colors to avoid clutter and disorder. Harmonious colors increase the recognition value of your business card and underline your professionalism. But when it comes to colors, the basic rule is: If a corporate design exists, these are the colors you should use.
Use the space
Don't overload your business card with unnecessary details. Leave enough space around the elements so that the business card looks tidy and neat. Space in the sense of white space or a simple colored area helps to highlight important elements and makes the business card easier to read.
If you follow these principles, you can create an effective and professional business card in Word.
