Folding paper airplanes and other Origami figures

Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Airplanes are often the first Origami projects that children try. No wonder - what could be more fascinating for young children than an airplane soaring high up among the clouds?

Origami promotes many important skills in children. Fine motor skills are trained through precise folding. Spatial imagination and abstract thinking develop when following the folding steps. Especially in the early years of life, the promotion of fine motor skills is particularly valuable. You can also support them through other crafting activities - on our portal, you will find numerous creative ideas for that.
