Folding a simple Origami Frog is great fun for children. The Japanese art of folding has been inspiring young and old alike for generations. On our portal, you will find over 100 detailed instructions for various Origami figures. Each tutorial includes self-made videos, step-by-step photos, and a detailed description.

The Origami Frog is particularly popular with children because it can actually hop! Lightly press on its backside, and the little paper frog will jump. Children love to have frog races or fold an entire family of frogs in different colors.

Step 1: Begin by folding a square sheet of paper in half. You can also use a rectangular sheet if the long side is at least twice as long as the short side. Then make two folds on one side at a 45-degree angle.
