For this crafting project you will need:

  • Colored paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils for decorating

Step 1: We start by using two paper strips. We glue them together to create two cylinders. Then we connect the two cylinders together - this will be the body of our chick.

Step 2: Next, we draw the templates for the feet and cut them out from the paper.

Step 3: Now we glue on the feet and cut out the beak. Yes, I see that the beak looks more like a duck's beak, but I assure you: we are crafting a chick!

Step 4: After that, we cut out the comb and glue it on.

Step 5: Finally, all that's left are the eyes. I used craft eyes from the stationery store. They already have adhesive dots on the back. You just need to peel off the protective film and stick the eyes on the head - done!
