Candy Wrapping: Video

Before you start crafting, we recommend watching our video. There we show every step in detail, especially how to get the typical candy shape with the twisted ends right.

Required Materials

For this fun candy wrapping you will need:

  • Colored craft paper (shown here in yellow, but you can choose any color)
  • A pair of scissors
  • A ruler for precise measuring
  • A pen for marking
  • Decorative ribbon or bow (here in red)
  • An elongated gift (shaving foam, hand cream, perfume, cosmetics, etc.)

You should adjust the size of the paper to your gift. For most cylindrical items such as shaving foam or hand cream, an A4 paper will suffice, which you can cut accordingly.

Why Creative Gift Wrappings are Important

The wrapping of a gift is like the first impression of a person - it reveals much about the effort and appreciation behind it. With a creative candy wrapping, you show not only your crafting skills but also your humor. Unwrapping becomes a playful experience that brings a smile to everyone’s face. Especially with everyday items such as cosmetics or personal care products, the unexpected presentation creates a real surprise effect. One could say that shaving foam or hand cream has never been wrapped so elegantly! This type of wrapping is not only more environmentally friendly than purchased gift bags but is also much more personal and memorable.
