Needed materials:

  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Real lollipops (round)

Take a white sheet of paper and place it in front of you. Fold the rectangle in the middle so that the fold is at the bottom. Draw the silhouette of a rabbit with a round hole in its belly on the folded paper - this is where the lollipop will be placed later. Give the rabbit a face with eyes, nose, and whiskers to make it look cute and expressive.

Carefully cut out the rabbit figure along the contour without unfolding the paper. Don’t forget to cut out the round hole in the middle as well. When you open the template, you will get a double rabbit that will surround the lollipop from both sides. Color both sides of the rabbit with colorful markers - paint the ears pink and decorate the area around the hole for the lollipop. Place the lollipop between the two rabbit parts so that it is visible through the hole. Attach the stick of the lollipop at the bottom. Your double-sided rabbit lollipop is ready!

The Easter Festival - a special time for children

Easter is a festival that children particularly look forward to. The Easter egg hunt, the visit of the Easter Bunny, and the time spent with family make this holiday something truly special. It’s an excellent opportunity to create decorations for your home together with your child.

Children grow and develop only once. Don’t miss the chance to create something creative with your child. These shared moments create valuable memories that you both will cherish forever in your hearts. The homemade Easter bunny lollipops will not only decorate your home but also be a sweet surprise that brings sparkle to children's eyes.

The importance of fine motor skills and creativity for children

Crafting promotes the development of fine motor skills in children in a playful manner. When children cut, glue, and paint, they train the coordination between their hands and eyes and strengthen the muscles in their fingers and hands. These skills are of great importance later on when learning to write and for many other daily activities.

Creative activities also stimulate mental development. They promote spatial thinking, concentration, and problem-solving skills. By crafting together, you also get to know your child's strengths and interests better and can support them individually. Especially for preschool children, the promotion of motor skills through crafting, cutting, and painting is an important preparation for school.
