Do you find that some of our textures perfectly match your image requirements? Would you like to incorporate them now? Our grunge textures or background images decorated with ornaments, for example, are ideal for this purpose.

Use blend modes to overlay textures with your images

To transfer the textures to your image, you will need layer-based image editing software with blending modes. These include programs such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo and GIMP. And this is how you proceed:

  1. Add the texture to a new layer above your image.
  2. Now change the blending mode of the layer into which you have inserted the texture. Depending on the texture, your image and the effect you want to achieve, blending modes such as Multiply negative, Multiply, Soft light and Copy into each other are suitable. You can also try out other blending modes.
  3. The structures of the texture now appear directly in front of your image. From here, you can adjust them further, for example by changing the size, position, opacity or alignment.
