Photoshop offers you the option of creating color gradients. Predefined gradients are saved in GRD files and can be imported into Photoshop. If you have downloaded individual content with gradients from TutKit.com, apply them as follows:

Import Photoshop color gradients (GRD files)

After downloading and unpacking the ZIP files, the color gradients are available to you in the form of GRD files. Double-click on such a file or drag and drop it into the program to import a color gradient. Alternatively, proceed as follows:

1. Open the presets manager via Edit and Presets.
2. Select the gradients in the Presets drop-down menu.
3. Click on Load.
4. Select the files with the gradients (GRD format) on your computer and import them.
5. Click on Done.

Applying Photoshop color gradients

To apply gradients to an area, activate the gradient tool. Select the desired gradient and drag it onto your workspace.

To apply gradients to a text or graphic, for example, select the layer with the corresponding content. Left-click on the layer to open the context menu and click on Fill options. Go to the gradient overlay. Behind Gradient, click on the display of the currently selected gradient. This will open the Edit gradient window, where you can select the gradient you want.

Imported gradients can also be selected directly in the color settings (for objects that can be assigned a color), which you can find at the top of Photoshop's main navigation bar. To do this, select the colored rectangle Area and select the third tab Gradient.
