Have you already prepared a text in another document and want to insert it into a PowerPoint presentation? Do you want the inserted text to adopt the formatting of the presentation as directly as possible? Then proceed as follows:

  1. Select the text you want to copy and press Ctrl+C or Cmd+C to copy the text to the clipboard.
  2. In the presentation, go to the text field into which you want to paste the text and delete the text already there.
  3. Paste the text using Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.
  4. A selection menu appears next to the inserted text. Open it and select the option Apply text only.
