Why use mockups?

Mockups are now used by many agencies and support you in your design work in many ways. On the one hand, you can use mockups to enhance your website portfolio many times over. On the other hand, mockups are ideal for presenting to customers , as they understand the structure of the concept much more easily.

Instead of two-dimensional designs, you can show your brochures in their "natural environment", so to speak, for what they are: Brochures. The huge advantage: you don't have to print and photograph the brochures to create the scenes. You work purely digitally and achieve excellent results in a short space of time .

No printing required: how to use Photoshop mockups for your brochures

The mockups have been specially prepared for brochures in A5 format. However, you can also use them for other DIN landscape formats such as A4 without any problems. Open a mockup in Photoshop. Then double-click on a smart object layer and insert your design in the open workspace via File>Place and Embed.... Set the selection for Crop to Media frame. Blender out the sample image and save your cover file - your design is already in the scene in the correct perspective and with a prepared shadow effect.
