Create PDF with Adobe InCopy CC

To export a PDF from InCopy, please follow the steps below.

First, open the InCopy document from which you want to create a PDF. Make sure that all the content you wish to export is entered correctly. When you're ready, go to the menu.

Under File, you will find the Export option. Click on it to start the export process.

In the dialog box that opens, you must now select Adobe PDF under File Type. Don't forget to set the storage location and file name for your PDF.

After selecting the file type, you will enter the PDF Export menu. Here you can make various settings, although the options are somewhat limited compared to InDesign.

First, you must decide whether you want to export the layout view or the print preview. In most cases, it is recommended to choose the layout view as it provides a better visual representation.

If you choose the layout view, you can also specify which page range you want to export. This is particularly useful when you only need a part of the document.

Another important point is how the pages should be exported – as single pages or as printer spreads. The printer spreads function combines double pages, which can be practical for printing houses.
