Sometimes it happens that you have created a certain theme, for example for the Commag, but you only have the layout ready and no texts or photos yet.
So that it doesn't look so dry, it would be practical if I could insert test photos instead of empty placeholders.
There are websites that can help with this. For example, there's a great blog that lists the top 10 placeholder websites.
There is nicenicepig.com, for example, where you only have to type in the width and height in the Internet address to get the image in the corresponding resolution.
To find out the required size, I can click on the frame and - if the document is created in web resolution - I will see the values at the top left: 114 in widthand 143 in height.
I then type these values into the address bar and when I press Enter, I get the corresponding image.
With the right mouse button I can copy the image URL,...
... then I click again on the frame to be filled in the document and via File>Place I insert the image URL under File name.
I confirm with OK...
... and I have the image here. It's that quick. It's not a bombastic resolution, but it's better than nothing.
I'll move on to the second empty field. I click on the frame and see that I need 476 × 268 here.
I type these values into the browser again at the top, press Enter and get the image.
Then I can copy the image URL again with the right mouse button...
... and place the image in the document with Ctrl+D.
This gives me exactly the resolution I need.
There are different services, not only from this website, but also, for example, this site that shows pictures of Nicolas Cage - in relaxed, gray or crazy ...
There are similar sites with many other stars, for example with Bill Murray.
Or with bears...
or with kittens or steaks or whatever.
Or, if you just want to have the resolution entered, you can use this address.
You tell it what color you want and what values should be entered. And then it is set accordingly.
This is available in all variants and you can also add a text here, for example:
Just a tip for quickly placing placeholders in the right resolution. There are numerous websites on the Internet that can help you with this.
